Theresa Antoinette Cooper Roberts (née Skur), 94, of Eastlake, joined her heavenly family on June 29, 2018. She was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Born in Cleveland on December 12, 1923, Theresa was a dedicated businesswoman; she was the original owner of Cooper's Twist and Shake, Cooper's Rub and Scrub, and Boulevard Bait Shop. She and her sister were the first carhops at the original Manners Big Boy Drive-In, Euclid. She loved dancing to polka music and watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.

Theresa is survived by her children Teresa Cooper, Gregory (Barbara) Cooper, Michael (Sharon) Cooper, Cheryl (Ken) Colburn, and Jill Cooper (who was her loving primary caregiver for the last ten years). She loved her nine grandchildren: Angelique (John), Aimee (Dave), Nikki (Matt), Laura (Anthony), Carlyn (Warren), Mitch (Andrew), Allison, Bryan (Shari), and Scott. She cherished her 14 great-grandchildren and 2 grand-puppies, Chief and Riley.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Dr. Anthony and Theresa (Yanchar) Skur, husbands Lawrence Cooper (24 years) and Frederick Roberts (26 years), and siblings Anthony III, Joseph, John, Thomas, and Margaret Skur. Her surviving siblings are Isabelle Lazarus, Roland Skur, and Mary Ann Pasquale.

She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene church in Willowick. A Celebration of Life was held by her immediate family at Cooper's Twist and Shake with ice cream and a balloon release.
Arrangements entrusted to the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
