Richard S. "Dick" Parker, 82 of Mentor, passed away September 21, 2018 at his home. He was born January 19, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois.

Dick worked as a salesman with the Raychem Corporation. He enjoyed golf, tennis and photography. He loved spending time with his grandkids and watching his Cleveland sports teams, as well as the Buckeyes. He lived a rewarding and impactful life and blessed everyone he knew with his ever present smile, wonderful sense of humor, warm generosity, and lifelong friendship.

Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Rebecca Parker; sons, Scott (Karen) and Ryan (Barbra) Parker; grandchildren, Sara, Jennifer (Brenden) Daley, Amanda, Nathan, Jacob, Christina, and Luke Parker, Tyler (Hannah) Baxter, and Kimberly Baxter; great-grandchild, Benjamin Parker Baxter; and his brother, Jack (Diane) and Fred (Barbara) Parker.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Baxter; parents, John and Mabel Parker; and his brother, Jim Parker.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Hope Ridge United Methodist Church, 9870 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp.

A memorial service in honor of Dick will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Hts., OH.
