Ralph W. "BUTCH" Andrews Jr., 64, of Concord Twp. for the past 24 years, passed away after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on June 11, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was born June 24, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Butch was an avid front running fan of the Dallas Cowboys, L.A. Lakers, New York Yankees and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He started working at Phil mar Corporation in 1970 and then moved on to Ohio Sealants, now the Henkel Corporation, in 1978 where he worked for 37 years. Butch was a "graduate" of OSI and worked there for 37 years before retiring in 2015. He was inducted into the Greater Cleveland Slo Pitch Hall of Fame in 2001 and played many years for Ohio Sealants, Holiday Lounge and Erieside Electric. The Hall of Fame voted Butch the president of the organization in 2005 and he held that title until he passed away. Butch and his wife Yvonne coached several youth organizations at St. Gabriel's Church and in Concord Twp., Painesville and Leroy Twp. for over 18 years. "BUTCHSTRONG - ALL IN, #27"

Survivors are his loving wife of 26 years, Yvonne (nee Basilone) Andrews; children Jennifer (Joseph) Felty, Douglas (Heather) Andrews, Ashley (Steve) Lampman, and Jordan (fiancé Beth Switzler) Andrews; his grandchildren, Michael, Paige, Madison, Austin, Lucas, Alexa, and Morgan; his sister, Lori Austin; his brother, Warren (Debbie) Andrews; and his nieces and nephews, Kristy (Marty) Adams, Matt Austin and Sarah Cox. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph W. Andrews Sr., and Elizabeth Andrews; and his brothers in law, Craig Austin and Ted Wolf.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.

A funeral mass to celebrate Butch's life will be held 10 a.m. Thursday June 15, 2017 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp. Please meet at church.

Interment will be at Concord Twp. Cemetery.
