N. Lee Dietrich, 91, a longtime Lake County resident, passed away September 10, 2018 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born December 18, 1926 in Lorain, Ohio.

Mr. Dietrich was the co-owner and vice president of Lockie Lee Dairy and Ohio Convenient Food Mart, Inc.

He was a graduate of Mentor High School, class of 1945. Following graduation, he served in the Merchant Marine. He was passionate about boating on the Great Lakes, and enjoyed swimming and exercising at the YMCA. He also enjoyed watching ice hockey and was a big fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a former member of the Grand River, Mentor Harbor and Put in Bay Yacht Clubs.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances Dietrich; daughter Sara (David) Kobelt; and his granddaughters Molly Kobelt of Chicago, IL; and Rachel Kobelt of Kansas City, MO; his beloved dog, Lola; niece Lisa Pipes, and nephews Doug, Barry and David Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gladys Dietrich, and his brother, Jack Dietrich.

The family will receive friends to celebrate Lee's life from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH, 44060.

A memorial service and time of sharing memories will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday and will conclude the celebration.
