Jane A. (Mills) Crockett, 96, formerly of Eastlake Ohio, passed away February 25, 2017. She was born February 22, 1921. Jane grew up in small coal mining town, by the name of Juniata, in Dunbar Twp. Pennsylvania. As a coal miner's daughter, she learned what hard work was like at an early age. Right out of high school Jane worked at the Juniata Company Store. During WWll she worked as "Rosie the Riveter" at the Fisher Body Plant in Cleveland Ohio. In 1955 she started working at the Bailey Meter Company on Ivanhoe Road in Cleveland and was a light assembler and lead lady until retirement from the Bailey Controls Wickliffe Plant in 1983. She was one of the last surviving members of the Collinwood Methodist Church Women's Circle. She loved going to church and the church's family members. Jane loved to travel and went to Hawaii, Florida and North Carolina several times. She also loved crocheting, bingo, photography and dancing the polka.

Survivors are her daughter, Linda G. Mills of Eastlake; son, Thomas L (Annette) Mills Jr. of Mentor; sister, Delores (Tom) Hudak of Akron; She loved being around her grandchildren, Clyde (Marilu) Copley of Virginia, Glinda Croyle of Brecksville, Darlene (Ray) Kronaver of Chardon, James Thomas, Jane Cosiano, of Eastlake and Christina Mills Scott of Mentor; her great grandchildren, Chuck Gary, Scott Sobbie, Keith Copley, Ryan Copley, Richard Croyle, Ralph Croyle, Carla Croyle, Carrie Richter, Anthony Cosiano, Zachary Cosiano, Sarah Scott and Colin Nolan and her great great grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Crockett; mother and father, Clyde and Coral Hart of Dunbar Pa.; siblings, Nellie (Clayton) Arison of Vanderbilt Pa., Ida (Fred) Phelan of Honor, Michigan, and Alwilda (John) Bellino of Willoughby, Ohio, Clyde (Jessie) Hart of Bessmer City, North Carolina, Shirley (Chuck) Nedley of Mentor Ohio, Robert (Jackie) Hart of Lutz, Florida and grandson, Keith Copley of Eastlake Ohio.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday March 2, 2017 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor Ohio 44060. Funeral service will be held on Friday March 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
