Christina Rachelle "Crickett" (Sliman) Rastall age 34 of Mentor on the Lake, OH went home to be with the Lord Friday December 1, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. In August 2016 Crickett was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal adenocarcinoma. She fought a long courageous battle and along the way was an encouragement and inspiration to many.

Crickett was born January 16, 1983 in Wheat Ridge, CO. She and her family soon moved from Colorado to Oak Harbor, WA. In 1986 they moved to Anchorage, AK where she grew up. Crickett attended public schools in Anchorage graduating from Service High School in 2001. She graduated in 2005 from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA with degrees in Public Relations, Business, & Journalism. After graduating she worked in Anchorage for Northwest Strategies, then moved to Cleveland, OH taking a job as Programs Manager for ACIS. Crickett earned her MBA from Case Western Reserve University in 2010 and was a Senior Consultant at Improve Consulting and Training from 2010 until present.

In 2007 during a snow boarding trip in New York with friends, Crickett met Tom, the love of her life. They were married on a beautiful beach in 2011 in Kauai, HI. In 2009 God blessed Crickett and Tom with a beautiful baby girl, Kya Anne. After several years of trying to conceive another child they were blessed with a miracle baby boy, Sage Thomas in 2015. Crickett enjoyed reading her bible, running, hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, or anything outdoors. Growing up she played softball, danced, swam, ice skated competitively and was on the crew team at Gonzaga. Crickett was creative and loved photography, cake decorating, and crafts of all kinds. She loved adventures, travel, the Alaskan mountains, and sailing on her dad's boat. Crickett had extraordinary perseverance and determination. Shortly after her diagnosis she participated in the Warrior Dash (a second time for her). Joshua 9:1 was one of her favorite verses and epitomized how she lived especially her last year: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord will be with you wherever you go."

Crickett loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her desire was that others would come to know Him. She loved meeting new people and loved everyone she met creating a network of friends across the country. Crickett was a devoted wife, mother and friend and was a joy to all who knew her. She will be missed incredibly, yet we look forward to the promise of being reunited with her in heaven for eternity.

Crickett is survived by her husband of 7 years: Thomas B. Rastall, her daughter: Kya Anne Rastall and her son: Sage T. Rastall. She is also survived by her mother: Theri (Vic) Kelley, Anchorage, AK; her father: Paul W. Sliman (Tanja A. Hill), FL; her brother: Benjamin Sliman (Kelly Jo Kern) of San Juan Capistrano, CA; her step-brothers: Sam (Jannell) Kelley, Anchorage, AK; Casey Kelley, Juneau, AK, and her grandparents: Don and Carol Stricklan, Lake Havasu City, AZ. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
