Charles P. "Chuck" Zuchelli, age 66 of Mentor died Thursday January 4, 2018 at Tri-Point Medical Center, Concord. He was born November 29, 1951 in Cleveland.

Chuck was a devoted husband to his wife Debe - their marriage and true love for each other is inspiring. They built a beautiful life and family together throughout their marriage. Chuck valued his family first and foremost, and made many sacrifices to provide and care for them. He loved his girls so much. Chuck lived a good life: he served in the Army when he was young and parachuted out of planes, then earned his Associates Degree from Lakeland Community College and enjoyed his career as a purchaser (most recently at Aleris). He delivered his youngest child in a Buick on the side of the freeway, vacationed with his family in Hilton Head and Washington D.C., was a fun Papa to his beloved grandchildren, enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars, tools, flashlights and pocketknives, and hanging out at Spats Café. We will remember his smile and warm brown eyes, and the lessons he taught us - by watching this selfless, good man, who truly had a heart of gold.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years: Debe (Petrigash) Zuchelli, daughters: Christina (Kenneth) Zeller, Jessica (Nick) Najdusak, Kimberly "Kimmy" (Zachary) Russo, Ashley Zuchelli, grandchildren: Caitlin & Kristopher Zeller, Abbey, Hailey & Dylan Najdusak, Milania & Luciana Russo, sister: Fran (Ralph) Wilson, in-laws: Joseph and Janice Petrigash and his dog: Clyd, and grand-dog Tyson.

Preceding Chuck in death are his parents: Frank and Pauline Zuchelli and brother: Robert Zuchelli.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor, OH 44060.
