C Richard Hullihen, Jr., age 90, of Concord Twp., passed away November 26, 2016 surrounded by his family. Born February 20, 1926 in Lock Haven, PA he served in the Air Force during WWII as a radio operator. He was a graduate of Washington University, St. Louis and was the Vice President of North American Sales and Service for Picker International for over 20 years.

He was an avid fisherman and longtime member of Deep Springs Trout Club. A private pilot and officer of the local Silver Wings, he was also a member of the Painesville Elks Lodge, where he served on the college scholarship committee. He represented Concord Twp. on the Lake County Land Use Committee of the Lake County Planning Commission.

Survivors include: his wife of 66 years, Betty; children, Richard (Susan), Barbara, Steven (Gina) and Sheila Hullihen; grandchildren, Caley and Kelsy; and great-grandchildren, Casen and Hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clairis and Myrtle Hullihen.

A celebration of Richard's life will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Painesville Elks Lodge 549 College Scholarship Fund, 723 Liberty St, Painesville, OH 44077.
